Abstract Submission

The Scientific Committee invites and encourages all authors to submit their abstracts for consideration and inclusion in the Scientific Programme.

Guidelines for Submission
  • All abstracts must be submitted in English
  • Abstract cannot exceed a limit of 500 words (excluding title, author’s names and institution, and keywords; including references).
  • Abstract title is limited to 20 words
  • Max 5 keywords are accepted
  • The abstract may not contain pictures
  • Authors can be a ‘’presenting author” on more than one abstract
  • All presenting authors are responsible for registering for the ICP 2018 Meeting and for paying the registration fees within 14 days after the confirmation of the presentation
  • Each heading should be in a separate paragraph:

  • Standard abbreviations do not need an explanation. Otherwise, abbreviations must be defined in brackets after when first used in the text.
  • When you list references use superscript numbers in both the text and the reference list.

An automatically generated confirmation will be sent to the email address of the contact person after an abstract submission. If you do not receive it in one hour (and after you have checked your spam folder), please contact us at icp-abstracts@guarant.eu.

If changes to your submitted abstract are necessary, please contact us at email address above, any time before the abstract submission deadline. Please do not submit your abstract more than once.

Authors will be notified of the acceptance of their abstract by email.

Further instructions for preparing the Oral or Poster presentation will be available at the web-site, typically two months before the event.

Author’s Registration

Please note that registration of the presenting author is mandatory for each accepted contribution. The deadline for the presenting author’s registration is on May 21, 2018.
If the presenting author has not paid the registration fee by this date, the presentation will be withdrawn from the programme.

Publication of Abstracts

The authors of submitted abstracts agree with their abstracts publishing (without reviewing) in the Abstract Book (electronic version) to be distributed to all participants at the congress.
